HAK has accredited World Halal Authority (WHA) according to OIC/SMIIC approach
Turkish Halal Accreditation Agency (HAK) has granted halal accreditation to World Halal Authority, located in Italy, for certifying products as halal.
Following the successful results of HAK’s evaluations and on-site assessments throughout 2023, WHA is now accredited for its halal product certification activities, against OIC/SMIIC 2: 2019 Standard in particular.
HAK shall keep evaluating halal accreditation applications of national & international product certifiers, as per the rules and principles laid in the related international standards.
