The HAK Hosts the Technical Delegation of the National Center of Accreditation of Kazakhstan
As it was decided in the Memorandum of Understanding which was signed between the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkey and the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan during the 11th Session of the Joint Economic Commission (JEC) on November 11, 2019, the first concrete steps in the “halal accreditation” field have been taken regarding the implementation of joint studies by the Halal Accreditation Agency (HAK) of Turkey and the National Center of Accreditation of Kazakhstan (NCA) on training and technical cooperation issues.
In this context, the technical delegation from the NCA hosted in Ankara by the HAK. The parties exchanged technical knowledge, know-how and experience on various areas within the framework of “halal certification”, especially about the halal quality infrastructure of Kazakhstan.
Demand for halal products increased in Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan set many standards regarding halal certified products produced and consumed in the country and made relevant regulations in 2016.
In the country, the demand for halal certified products has been increasing and companies continue their efforts for taking part in the global halal market.
The country is successfully represented by Kazakh companies in the Halal Expos, and the quality of halal certified products manufactured by domestic capital is also increasing.
