HAK has launched halal accreditation services for the laboratories performing halal testing
HAK provides accreditation services chiefly to the bodies operating in halal certification of food products since 2019. Currently, more than 650 halal certificates for various product groups are covered within the scope of HAK’s accreditation through meticulous accreditation services.
Besides, HAK has extended the coverage of its services by developing new accreditation schemes pursuant to the OIC/SMIIC approach that includes the most inclusive aspects for different conformity assessment areas in the halal.

Thanks to the accreditation services of HAK in this very specific field, the tests used by the organizations performing halal certification activities and the companies operating in areas such as food and cosmetics and service providers are included in the scope of accreditation.
Consequently, accreditation services of HAK creates advantages for both the manufacturers/service providers operating as per OIC/SMIIC approach and for the bodies granting halal certificates to those manufacturers/service providers in terms of qualified services and time by providing access to credible institutions for their testing and analysis activities.
